Heartcode BLS ONLINE COURSE (Part 1)
This item is the online portion of the Basic Life Support (BLS) course when taken in a blended-learning format. Once students pass the included exam at the end of the online portion, students would need to register for parts 2 & 3 of the online course which features discussion, skills practice, and skills testing. Successful completion of both the online and hands on portions, including skills practice and testing with a certified American Heart Association BLS Instructor, qualifies students for a BLS provider course card. The online program includes eSimulations and other interactive activities, and allows students to choose between in-facility and prehospital tracks to best meet their learning needs. PC and Mac® compatible. Please include an e-mail address when ordering. The access key and instructions on how to log in and register for the course will be e-mailed to you, usually within 1 business day. NOTE: You must purchase one online access key for each student trained.
BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings (students choose one of these two tracks when completing HeartCode BLS). The BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
