Heartsaver® CPR AED Pediatric Course -- features hands-on Children CPR AED training. This course is designed to prepare students to provide CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. This course DOES NOT satisfy the requirements for Healthcare providers such as Nurses, Nursing students, CNA, dentist, doctors, EMT etc. that are seeking a course completion card for licensing or job requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

Course length is approximately 2 hours, with skills testing by an American Heart Association instructor during the course *THIS COURSE IS OFFERED BOTH ONLINE & IN THE CLASSROOM

 

ALL COMPONENTS OF THE INSTRUCTOR LED IN THE CLASSROOM HEARTSAVER COURSE ARE COMPLETED IN A CLASSROOM SETTING. THIS COURSE CANNOT BE COMBINED WITH THE ONLINE COURSE COMPONENTS.

The American Heart Association's Heartsaver courses are offered both in the classroom or online. Once you complete all requirements, you will be issued a course completion card on the same day you complete the course.

 

Course completion cards are valid for 2 years from the day of the course.

To be eligible to receive a full refund, or to reschedule your course registration, you must contact us to cancel or re-schedule your course registration, during our normal business hours, no later than the day before your scheduled course. Our normal business hours are, Monday - Friday  9AM - 5PM Eastern Standard Time. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE YOUR REGISTRATION WITHIN THE TIME STATED ABOVE, YOU SHALL BE CONSIDERED  A " NO SHOW" and you SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY REFUNDS.

In the event you arrive with in 15 minutes after your scheduled course time, or if you do not cancel or re-schedule your course or skills practice and testing session within the allotted time stated above, YOU SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY REFUNDS. "NO EXCEPTIONS".  If you would like to reschedule the course or skills practice and testing session, you will have to re-register for the course and pay all course fees. AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION TEXTBOOK POLICY

All students must have the current appropriate AHA course textbook for their individual use before, during, and after the course. Students should review the textbook before class and have immediate access to their own copy afterward as a reference and review tool. The only exception to this policy is the student who is a healthcare professional who will have access to the textbook for individual study reference before, during, and after the course at his or her facility. A library/archive for healthcare professionals is acceptable but does not meet the requirement for lay programs.  BOOK IS INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE OF THIS COURSE.
