  • The REQUIRED  Heartsaver Instructor Essential  Online course is SOLD SEPERATELY.

 

After completing the Heartsaver Instructor Essentials online course, the Instructor candidate must take the faculty-led, classroom-based Heartsaver Instructor course. During the faculty-led course students will be required to complete a hands on skills test and the Heartsaver Instructor written exam. Students must score an eighty four percent or higher on all exams and tests before being eligible to receive a BLS instructor card. 

After completing the Heartsaver Essentials online course and the instructor led classroom course, Within 6 months after completing the instructor- led portion of the instructor process, the instructor candidate shall be monitored teaching their first Heartsaver course by one of CASC faculty members. 

NOTE: Instructor candidates will be charged an additional $100.00 fee for course monitoring completed away from Critical Actions Safety Center.

Upon successful completion of all steps, instructor candidates shall receive a Heartsaver Instructor card, which shal be valid for two years.

 

To be elgiable to receive a full refund, or to reschedule your course registration, you must contact us to cancel or re-schedule your course registration, during our normal business hours, no later than the day before your scheduled course. Our normal business hours are, Monday - Friday  9AM - 5PM Eastern Standard Time. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE YOUR REGISTRATION WITHIN THE TIME STATED ABOVE, YOU SHALL BE CONSIDERED  A " NO SHOW" and you SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY REFUNDS.
