The American Heart Association Advance Cardiac Life Support Instructor Course is for those that have the desire to teach AHA Instructor-led and blended-learning courses. Prior to purchasing any parts of the instructor course, instructor candiadtes must have a current ACLS provider course completion card. Course participants must obtain approval to align with Critical Actions Safety Center prior to enrolling in this course. If you will be aligning with another training center, we would need a letter of approval from that training center prior to you enrolling in this course. If you have not contacted our office for approval to register for this course, please do so before attempting to register.

After completing the ACLS Instructor Essentials online course, the Instructor candidate must take the faculty-led, classroom-based ACLS Instructor course. During the faculty-led course students will be required to take the ACLS provider written exam, complete a hands on skills test and the ACLS Instructor written exam. Students must score an eighty four percent or higher on all exams and tests before being eligible to receive a ACLS instructor card. 

After completing the ACLS Essentials online course and the instructor led classroom course, A CASC faculty shall  member monitor the Instructor candidate as he or she teaches their first ACLS course. 

NOTE: Instructor candidates will be charged an additional $100.00 fee for course monitoring completed away from Critical Actions Safety Center.

Upon successful completion of all steps, instructor candidates shall receive a BLS Instructor card, which shal be valid for two years.
